Professional Grillz Casting Service
Casting Services for Grillz Makers, Jewellers & Trade Customers
GrillzZone provides a professional investment casting service for independent grillz makers, jewellers and trade customers throughout the UK.
Whether you need a single raw casting, regular production work or a complete wax-up, casting and finishing service, we can adapt the process to your requirements.
With over 25 years of dental technology experience, every case is inspected before casting. We understand that a successful casting starts long before the metal enters the casting machine.
Our Casting Services & Prices
1. Casting Only – £20 per unit
You provide the completed wax-up on a plaster or printed working model.
Before casting, we inspect the wax-up and make minor corrections where necessary to help achieve a clean and reliable casting.
We provide your choice of yellow/gold-coloured or white/silver-coloured non-precious casting alloy.
The casting is returned in raw form for you to carry out your own fitting, finishing, polishing and stone setting.
£20 per unit/cap
Special or particularly complex designs may require an individual quotation.
2. Casting + Finishing & High Polishing
You provide the completed wax-up on a plaster or printed working model.
We inspect the wax-up before casting and make minor corrections where necessary. If we identify a significant issue with the wax-up, fit or design, we will contact you before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.
We provide your chosen yellow or white non-precious casting alloy and complete the casting, fitting to the working model, finishing and high polishing.
-Solid design: £30 per unit
-Open / Window / Heart design: £35 per unit
-Special or complex designs: Individual quotation
3. Complete Service – Wax-Up + Casting + Finishing & High Polishing
Need us to produce the wax-up too?
Send us your working model and we can complete the manufacturing process from wax-up through to the finished casting.
The service includes wax-up, casting in your chosen yellow or white non-precious alloy, fitting to the working model, finishing and high polishing.
-Solid design: £40 per unit
-Open / Window / Heart design: £45 per unit
-Special or complex designs: Individual quotation
Available Metals & Alloys
For non-precious casting, we offer:
-Yellow / gold-coloured non-precious casting alloy
-White / silver-coloured non-precious casting alloy
The alloys we currently work with include NPG+2, VeraSoft and Super 80, depending on the required colour and application.
Please note that terms such as gold-coloured and silver-coloured describe the appearance of the non-precious alloys and do not mean that the material is solid gold or sterling silver.

Alloy Specifications & Material Information
We believe trade customers should know what materials are being used for their work.
NPG+2 – Yellow/Gold-Coloured Alloy
NPG+2 is manufactured by Aalba Dent and is a yellow-gold coloured base-metal casting alloy containing 2% gold.
Manufacturer-listed composition:
Cu 78.7% | Al 7.8% | Au 2% | Ni, Fe, Zn, Mn
Additional technical specifications and mechanical properties are available from the manufacturer.
VeraSoft / VeraSoft ES – White Alloy
VeraSoft is an Aalba Dent white base-metal casting alloy.
Where VeraSoft ES is used, the manufacturer-listed composition is:
Ni 76.5% | Cu 11.5% | Cr 5.0% | Sn, Si
Manufacturer documentation and additional technical information can be provided where available.
Super 80
Super 80 may also be used for appropriate applications. Please contact us if you require specific material composition or documentation before ordering.
If a particular alloy is important for your work, please confirm your requirements with us before your order is cast.
Precious Gold Casting
For precious gold casting, customers currently provide their own metal.
This gives you full control over the precious metal supplied for your work and removes uncertainty caused by changing precious metal prices.
The supplied precious metal is accurately weighed before casting, and the remaining metal is weighed again after the casting process.
Please note that a small processing loss is normal during precious metal casting.
Precious gold casting: £15 per unit/cap
Please contact us before sending precious metal so that the requirements can be confirmed in advance.
Wax Patterns, Resin Prints & STL Files
We can work with:
-Traditional wax-ups
-Castable resin patterns
-Ready-to-print STL files
If you already have a completed wax or castable resin pattern, send it to us securely on the appropriate working model.
If your design is digital, simply send us your ready-to-print STL file and we can print it in castable resin before proceeding with casting.
Castable resin printing from a supplied STL file: +£5 per unit
The £5 printing charge applies to printing a supplied, ready-to-print STL file. Digital design, CAD modification or significant repair of STL files is not included and, where required, will be quoted separately.
Every Case Is Checked Before Casting
This is one of the most important parts of the GrillzZone casting service.
With over 25 years of dental technology experience, we don't simply place your wax-up into the casting process.
Each case is inspected on the working model before casting.
Where appropriate, minor corrections can be made to help achieve a successful casting. If we identify a significant problem with the wax-up, design or fit, we will contact you before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.
Our aim is simple: identify potential problems before they become failed castings.
Raw Casting or Finished?
The choice is yours.
Casting Only
Your casting is returned raw, ready for you to carry out your own fitting, finishing, polishing and stone setting.
Casting + Finishing & High Polishing
We cast, fit to the working model, finish and high-polish the grillz for you.
Complete Service
We complete the wax-up, casting, fitting to the working model, finishing and high polishing.
This allows you to use GrillzZone for as much or as little of the manufacturing process as you need.
Turnaround Times
Our typical turnaround from receipt and inspection of your case is:
Casting Only: Same or next working day
Casting + Finishing & High Polishing: Approximately 2 working days
Complete Wax-Up + Casting + Finishing & High Polishing: Up to 3 working days
These are typical turnaround times rather than guaranteed deadlines.
Complex designs, larger production runs or cases requiring additional corrections may take longer. If timing is critical, please contact us before sending your case.
Minimum Order
There is no minimum order quantity.
Whether you need a single cap, a small case or regular larger production runs, you're welcome to use our casting service.
Trade & Volume Pricing
We welcome regular work from independent grillz makers, jewellers and other trade customers.
Our standard volume pricing is:
1–9 units: Standard price
10–19 units: 10% discount
20+ units: 15% discount
For larger production runs or regular ongoing work, please contact us to discuss an individual trade arrangement.
Regular trade relationships may also allow us to organise workflow, turnaround and return delivery more efficiently around your requirements.
Return Postage
For single-unit orders, a £5 return postage charge applies.
For orders of 2 or more units, standard UK return postage is included.
If you require an upgraded or time-critical delivery service, please contact us before ordering so that we can confirm availability and any additional delivery cost.
What Happens If a Casting Fails?
We stand behind our casting work.
If a casting fails as a result of our casting process, we will recast the affected unit at no additional casting charge.
This does not cover problems resulting from inaccurate or unsuitable working models, customer-supplied designs or patterns, unsuitable materials, damage during transport, or fit/design issues originating from work supplied to us.
Where we identify a potential problem before casting, we will contact you wherever reasonably possible before proceeding.
How to Package Your Wax-Up
Wax patterns can be delicate, so please package them carefully.
Whenever possible, the wax-up should remain securely attached to the working model.
Place the model inside a rigid protective box and use soft paper, bubble wrap or another suitable cushioning material to prevent movement during transport.
Avoid placing pressure directly onto the wax pattern.
We strongly recommend using a tracked postal or courier service.
GrillzZone cannot take responsibility for wax patterns, models or other customer-supplied items damaged before they reach us.
Confidentiality & Your Designs
We understand the importance of original designs in the grillz industry.
Customer-supplied designs, wax-ups, models and digital files remain the property of their respective owners.
We respect the confidentiality of our trade customers and will not intentionally reproduce, sell or share a customer's proprietary design with a third party without permission.
Regular & Trade Customers
We're interested in building long-term working relationships with independent grillz makers, jewellers and other trade customers.
You don't need to be a high-volume business to work with us. There is no minimum order, so you're welcome to start with a single case.
As your order volume grows, we can discuss:

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I send you my own wax-up?
Yes. Send your completed wax-up securely on the working model and we can inspect and cast it for you.
Can I send a resin pattern?
Yes. We accept suitable castable resin patterns.
Can I send an STL file?
Yes. We can print suitable, ready-to-print STL files in castable resin.
Castable resin printing is £5 per unit in addition to the selected casting service.
Digital design or significant STL modification is not included in the printing charge.
Can you make the wax-up for me?
Yes. Our Complete Service includes wax-up, casting, fitting to the working model, finishing and high polishing.
Can I finish the casting myself?
Absolutely. Choose our Casting Only service and we'll return the casting raw for you to finish, polish and stone-set yourself.
Is there a minimum order?
No. We accept orders from a single unit upwards.
Do you offer discounts for larger orders?
Yes. Volume pricing is available from 10 units, and individual trade arrangements can be discussed for larger or regular production work.
Can you cast precious gold?
Yes. Precious gold casting is available using customer-supplied metal.
The supplied precious metal is weighed before and after casting. Please contact us before sending precious metal.
How quickly can you cast my work?
Casting-only cases can typically be completed the same or next working day after receipt and inspection.
Finished cases normally require approximately 2 working days, while our complete service can take up to 3 working days.
What if my casting fails?
If the failure is caused by our casting process, we will recast the affected unit without an additional casting charge.
Is return postage included?
Standard UK return postage is included for orders of 2 or more units.
A £5 return postage charge applies to single-unit orders.
